Applied for a consulting manager job and l lowballed myself (PANICKED) when they asked my salary expectation during the interview (I said 130+ but I should have said 160-180). How can I fix it once I receive the offer? Can I say “after researching the market and hearing more about the position I wouldn’t make a switch for less than 170”? Or how else would you frame it? I don’t feel pressured to switch jobs just exploring the market. Thanks!!

If you’re offered a job with salary range $150k-160k and equity range 30k-20k to select from, can you come back with a counter and ask for something out of the range? For example, could I ask for $170k and 25k shares?

Adobe, Facebook, MasterCard, McKinsey, Fitbit/Google, or PWC? No offers yet from any of these places but in interview stages with all. Ready to leave Accenture plus i don’t think my m3 comp is overly competitive. Not terrible but i think any of these would pay higher.

Curious if folks have any opinions on the companies listed? I recognize some of these are apples to oranges. Roles are either consulting manager or program management type positions.
