A recruiter asked me what other roles I'm looking at, and I honestly didn't know how to answer. I've got maybe 3 other things going on, but something told me not to share all that. Am I overthinking this, or is it actually better to keep it to myself? I just want to handle this the right way without shooting myself in the foot.

Depends on whether it’s an in-house recruiter or an external one. In-house is more of a game since they are directly working with the company. Sharing that you are pursuing opportunities can show you’re in demand, but it can also make them less serious about you.

I don't think there's really any one good way to answer that. It can depend on circumstances. You may want them to know you're in demand, or you may wish to keep it quiet. Making it known you're interviewing elsewhere may or may not work in your favor, it's possible a recruiter will decide they don't want to compete for you, and they'll focus on someone who seems more available. You often can't know how that will be received.

So I have my bachelors in criminal justice and I just finished my paralegal certificate course today. My attorney should be making partner this year. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner.
