What does everyone think of LinkedIn Premium (the $30/mo pack)? Is it worth it for a job seeker with 1-2 years of professional experience?

Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.

What's the recruitment process for Consultants or associate consultants on analytics side ? I was said there would be 4 steps at minimum.
