Was scheduled for an interview today for a Director pos. early morning I get a Reschedule request to next Wednesday but I cannot make it due to personal commitment .
Called recuit mgr.to let him know and he tells me the director is very busy as she’s the IT. Dir for the whole org.politely asked him to send her availability other than next Haven’t received anything since then . Wondering if such co. Is worth pursuing that doesn’t value others time and that too a replacement pos for the same busy role 🥹
Let that sink in 😂😂 ..🤓

I’d see that as a red flag personally, especially since they would be your boss. That’s them in a no-pressure scenario. At their “best” probably. So if that’s not your kind of manager. I’d punt. The boss makes the job in my experience.
I’d call that a red flag. If someone can’t give you space to speak in an interview, it may be even harder once you’re on their team. As a manager, I try to conduct interviews about the candidate, not me. If he dominated the conversation and even stepped out for a call, I’d be cautious.
It sounds like your potential boss has some real personality quirks. Not sure it's entirely normal, but it may not be a red flag in the sense of being a complete deal breaker. If you get an offer, the details will matter more than the conversational eccentricities of your boss.
I wouldn’t necessarily consider that a red flag- it could be, I just wouldn’t consider it one. I’d personally want to “vibe” with the manager though. Makes things significantly easier imo. The personal call is a bit unprofessional, but maybe it was a necessary call?
I wouldn’t say it’s normal, not the phone call part anyway.
I’ve interviewed with people who do exactly what you say cut you off while your speaking.
If you’re not comfortable working with someone who will not allow you to finish your sentence then this is definitely going to be an issue for you.
