How do you know you're ready to move from an Account Executive to a Senior Account Executive role?

Just saw an intern I managed get promoted to SAE.

Trying to figure out how not to get caught in a 2 years = promotion cycle, but it seems that’s where I’m at. Is this normal?? I’d be okay with 1.5 years even, but 2 years and a few months at a role I know I’m kicking ass at sucks.

Is it time to jump ship??

Hi everyone! Desperately looking for advice on appropriate salary expectations....
Currently an Account Executive – stepping up to Senior Account Executive in the next month or so. 3 years experience.
Work at a smaller agency & am fully aware that my current salary is grossly low-balled. Was told to name a number for SAE role, but have no basis for what a 'normal' range looks like for that role.
Please help!!!

How much salary increase can I ask for an account supervisor role at a new company (and limit?), and how much increase would I be able to ask if I were to be promoted to a GAS at the same potential company? I’m currently a SAE!

I’m interviewing for an AE position at a smaller agency, about 80 people. Looking at people’s profiles that work at this agency on LinkedIn, it feels like I have more experience than all AEs there and match more with SAE levels. I know I applied to an AE position, but could I ask the recruiter about having an SAE title? Is that a bad look?

Anyone have an idea of what salary expectations are realistic for a sae role that is now fully remote but will support nyc business?

I’m a year overdue for my SAE promotion due to covid and business issues. I was told by my SVP that the promotion is definitely coming before EOY & I just need to “sit tight”. In the mean time I have been interviewing for an associate brand manager role for a smaller CPG company. Is it worth it to make the jump this early if my goal is to go brand side anyway? Or is it worth it to stick it out & get my promotion first? The new salary is also probably higher than my promotional raise will be too

My career path has been anything but linear - interned in creative (copy), worked in SEO/content creation until I got my BA in advertising (minor in Psych). Worked first two years in digital media, then two in branded content + project/account management. Now in an SAE role, which I enjoy but want to continue my education in line with my interest in the big picture planning and strategy.

Does anyone know of any agencies that are hiring remote positions? Specifically SAE? I live in Boston but open to a fully remote position but not sure if any agencies are doing this yet? I haven’t seen many.

Are there any healthcare PR agencies who are open to hiring those with little to no experience but who are really interested in learning? I would be interested in transitioning from B2B / tech / advertising into healthcare and taking a lower title, but a couple recruiters have told me most do not want to train incoming talent.
