After 12 years of remote work my company of 3 years is forcing me to work in a co-working space. There are no commuter benefits so I’m basically taking a salary cut and i won’t be with my team so collaboration benefits are n/a. Transportation costs are high in this city:
drive+park = ~$5,000/year and 30-40min/day
Or
train = ~$2,200/year and 80-100min/day
I need to ask for more money to support this change. How would you approach it?
