After 15+ years running my own marketing consultancy, I’m transitioning to a large professional services firm. This opportunity—created specifically to leverage my expertise in writing, messaging, and strategic positioning—arose through networking and the firm’s need for senior-level talent.
Given my limited experience with corporate salary structures, I’m seeking insights on a salary range for a senior marketing leader in Chicago. Any perspective is appreciated.

1. EPAM Anywhere - giving 25.2LPA (Fixed) and 80k joining bonus - as Sr Test Engineer.
2. HCL - giving 28.8 fixed and 3.2 as variable - as Test Manager

Does this ever happened with anyone that your interview went very good and then also you got rejection mail from hr and unable to understand what when wrong. The same thing happened with me yesterday for coinswitch data engineer profile. Solved all the questions and actually gave some suggestions also , but today got rejection mail.😂😂

Having thoughts about leaving Tax for a smaller Co that specializes in SALT credits and incentives... but could this limit me down the road experience wise if I decided to leave there? I have a diverse experience now, but I don’t want to be looked at as only SALT later.

I'm a first yr attorney at an insurance firm and am in the process of interviewing for an in-house position at a tech company. The position is pretty much generalist, but I get the impression I'd be working mostly on SaaS and partnership transactions. I definitely think I would like the transactional work better, but I am concerned about the long-term earning potential vs. partnership. How common is it to eventually make $350k+ in-house/how difficult is it to transition back to a firm? Thanks!
