I would buy the watch that I actually want. What is there to think about? You want to drop so much money for a watch you need to ask strangers on the internet about? Stay on the list and wait for what you applied for or go to other ADs.
Yeah, guess I am just caught up in my own head and need validation from the strangers
If you want the watch, buy it. If you don’t want the watch, don’t buy it.
It’s that simple.
But if you’re prepared to buy something that isn’t what you ordered, that’s your decision as it’s your money. But if I’m looking for an Oystersteel Daytona, I wouldn’t bother buying a rose-gold one, as it’s not the one I want.
This is just a case of an AD who bought a product that they can’t shift. That’s their problem. Find a better AD who can actually get you what you’re looking to buy.

This watch is 3-4x the price of steel. Do you have that kinda money to throw around to get something you don’t want? Might as well spend 2x and go gray on the steel panda.
This! They’re not doing you a favor, they’re asking you to buy a super expensive watch you don’t want, likely more expensive than getting what you want (and receiving it immediately)
This is just a test from your AD - I have said NO several times if it wasn't a watch I wanted and it was never a problem with the AD

I think the rose gold oyster flex Daytona is a solid watch. But if that’s not what you want, don’t buy it.
