Where do you buy vintage watches?
My one and only

Thoughts on a Omega De Ville Prestige as a first luxury watch? Would be ~$7.5K USD at retail. Some friends have said great things about Omega as a starter, whereas others say it’s not worth it over a Rolex Oyster Perpetual (which would be similar in cost).
I personally love how clean the design is, the use of gold, and the thinner band as it links the watch … find the Rolex band design to be too chunky.

My wrist is a touch under 7 inches and the AT41 is perfect. You may want to go with the 38mm. It will be much better

Maybe too big. Try it on. There is a smaller one too, 38.5 if I remember correctly.
You can usually find those cheaper than the bigger one secondhand.
Depends on the shape of your wrist. If the lugs hang over then 👎🏼
I have the same wrist size and much preferred the 38.5mm over the 41mm when I tried them on.

I would say try both on if you get a chance. Wrist circumference doesn’t tell the whole story - you may have a flatter wrist top which can accommodate larger watches or a more “round” wrist in which case smaller watches may fit better. Try measuring the width of the top of your wrist and compare against the lug to lug of the AT to see if there will be potential overhang.
Update, actually looks perfect on a 6.25 inch wrist. To get a sense, would look up Teddy Baldassare’s video on it, where he shows it ona 6.25.
