I don't think it applies at all. Sales require a lot of interpersonal connections, reading the vibes, and being human. AI could never perform the work a salesperson can.

Glad to hear it!
I absolutely agree, and it's why I'm choosing not to panic about all the AI conversations happening. A lot of people really, really hate having to communicate with chat bots and computers when they have important questions that they need answered. That's what we are here for, and I don't see AI replacing us anytime soon.

I think it may take some BDM jobs because you can use Ai for emails so quickly, but nothing replaces a relationship.
My thoughts on this keep changing. I'm not sure there will be a direct application of AI to sales as human judgment is so much a part of pitching and following through. But there are indirect ways that AI could be helpful in the sense of being a great brainstorming tool. For instance, you can pose scenarios to it or ask it questions about hypothetical situations. People who learn to use AI tools in that way may give themselves an edge.

Interesting. What kind of scenario do you use it to help you with?
I think you're spot on!

Thanks!
