Need advice on a specific question!
Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”

How many days does BNY Mellon takes to release offer letter post the interview procedure, I was confirmed by HR that I will get a mail with link to upload docs and then offer will be released but still waiting for their mail.

After my Interview round now after 2 months received a mail from EY GDS HR to share a few documents on mail.
Does this mean I got selected or something else?

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

How much time does Infosys takes to share the offer letter and proceed with documentation and stuff. I have cleared 2 rounds of interview and still waiting for HR to contact me.

How do I know Big-Law is not for me?

I am a first year who just started a couple of months ago and I am literally confused all the time. I did some small work for two partners and they loved it, so put me on new deals but the mid levels I am staffed with absolutely hate the work I do. One said the work I did was laughable. I felt bed because I spent over 25 hours on this. I wouldn’t be very bothered but the other Associates in my class are killing it. So I just feel dumb all the time.

Anyone else get deferred / marked for "further consideration" for Round 2 for HBS?

Currently working as radiology access specialist that is a regular 10 to 6 Monday through Friday. I want to branch out to remote position in healthcare I have about 3 years of working administrative part of healthcare. This will be a second job in a sense. Does anyone have any ideas ?

Salary cut 20% first week the virus broke out, no bonuses this year, and it’s unlikely that we will get that 20% back. Good thing this was my first year and I earned all of 3 months of my salary. 😑

I went to a T14 law school, got great grades and glowing recommendations, and wrote (what I thought was) a great writing sample. But I got rejected from all 70 federal clerkships I applied to. The only thing I can think of is: I took a non traditional route after law school and did a 2 year public interest fellowship in a niche field of administrative law. The rejection gave me a lot of self hatred. I still really want to clerk. Any advice? What is wrong with me? I feel like a failure.

I graduated in May 2020, but did not start working at my firm until September 2020. I’ll start my clerkship in June 2021 — will I start at JS-12 or JS-13? If I start at JS-12, will I ever bump up to JS-13?

Anyone else kind of bored clerking? I liked law school and thought I liked research and writing, but so far this district court clerkship has been pretty boring—lots of state law issues that are poorly briefed. Though to be fair, most of my time has been spent on one big case that I’m 99% sure is going to settle but not until the eve of trial bc that’s plaintiff’s counsel’s m.o.; so my work resolving the insane number of SJ and Daubert motions seems like a waste of my time.

For writing samples in clerkship applications, can you edit/revise a final work product already submitted to the court? For instance, if there's a typo or something. Can more substantive edits be made to improve the work product?

Hello everyone! I am a Judicial Law Clerk, which I have been for a little over two years now. However, I’m planning on moving into the AML/Compliance realm. I have a background in finance, having been a Finance Disbursing Officer in the Army for 6 years with one deployment in that role. I’ve been at my clerkship for 5 years (4 with a different judge) and one with my current judge, and I heard horrible things about him before starting, but I assumed they were exaggerated. Turns out they’re all true, and I’ve had to start therapy to deal with him and the incredibly toxic environment. I’m trying to get out ASAP b/c he also has a history of firing clerks without cause or notice, but I think I’ll only be able to give two weeks notice if i get the job I’m interviewing for. Thoughts?
