Almost in all companies, there were layoffs, &layoffs clearly tagged as *ai*, even though people know, ai can't replace jobs/skills, it can only reshape jobs/skills;
within organisation, who to blame, are CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CTOs, Directors, Managers, Team Leads, or Principal/Senior levels;
with layoffs, who are getting benefitted, at all levels;

Do FDD people expect at other firms/in other markets to be able to WFH after offices open again?

Hey everyone - I could do with some advice. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am having a hard time getting interview calls. I am trying to pivot from consulting to the industry and targeting project/program management roles. I have been doing this work for 7+ years now (total YOE 12 years) so certainly have the right skillset. I have tried a couple of referrals too but that didn’t help either. I got my offer last year to join in Sept this year. Recently, I was made aware by people in the firm that there is an increase in salary across the board including my role. Some people joining the same role have received a new offer letters, but I didn't. How should I write to the recruiter to ask? (it's a significant increase of ~20% 🥺)

Can anyone who has taken a career sabbatical to travel/explore other interests share their experience with both leaving their jobs and returning to the legal field?
