Any chance you have a background in cloud or analytics?? If so PWC is bringing in many partners in those areas, paying well and have shortened the interview process.
Just be mindful, they are trying to buy market share and you’ll most likely be on a 3 year contract.
How “well” are they paying for analytics partners? I think we all have different definitions.
Went through it a couple of years ago and am now bringing others in through it. Fastest I’ve seen is 60ish days, but that was an accelerated exception. Mine was 4 months, largely because I kept asking more questions… :)

Mine took like 8 months
Process is 7-10 interviews incl 4 with ‘executives’ that lead parts of the business
Thank you.
I can attest above is true, I was approached for MD but it came with significant revenue targets
Took 6 months to receive an official offer. Was told I was receiving an offer after 4 month but there were internal delays. 6 interviews with MDs + regular communication with hiring manager.
How did u manage that ?
Going through it now
Do you mind if I IM you?
I am going through the Partner / Principal process at PWC as well. I heard there is a 2 year probation period ? For all newly admit catalyst partners and u could get voted out. Are u hearing the same? Not sure how big of a deal that is
Thanks P1 for your input. As a new direct admit, 66% is something else.
I just went through the process. Happy to answer specific questions. Mine was a rush job and still took about 3 months (longer if you include the hoops between contingent offer and start date.
Do you happen to have a burner ?
Given these positions aren’t posted, how does one “apply”? I’m a EY in cyber. I have cloud experience.. I’d be very interested in a direct admit conversation.
In my experience, you don’t apply. That is anecdotal so others may have a different experience. I reached out to partners/principals I knew at each of the Big 4 to let them know I was interested in making a move. That started the recruitment process.
That said, it is very difficult to lateral from a SM at one firm to partner at another. MD is possible.
