Any advice to someone who wishes to pivot their career to insurance (specifically Underwriting Assistant)? I have skills in data entry, document review & management, quality assurance & compliance, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, basically every requirement BUT a background in insurance. I know others who had no insurance experence and still landed the job but they had referrals from within. I do not. I keep getting interviews and then not getting picked overall.
