For cheapo pre production stuff, or deck/pitch theater, nano banana/higgs/comfy. For “creative”, none really. Best use for it I can find is as a mediocre junior creative or strategist to bounce off of - a way to get over the drag if an initial “blank page”, even if the page is now filled with a list of things not to do.
I’ve been down this rabbit hole and honestly, the "big win" usually comes when you stop looking for one tool to do it all for you and start treating them like a modular pipeline. My writing and idea home base is usually ChatGPT or Gemini, but I don't just prompt them on the fly. I keep a library of pre-built context docs (PDFs or Google Docs) that I drop in first to 'ground' the AI in the specific project history or voice so I'm not getting generic slop back. From there, it’s all about pipelining. If I can’t get the exact visual look I need in GPT because of their guidelines or engine limits, I’ll have it write a technical prompt that I can then copy/paste into something more specialized like Nano Banana or Lovart.ai until it gives what i want.
For video, I’ve found that prompting from scratch is a total credit-usage lottery, so I usually focus on getting one "perfect" anchor frame first. Once that image is locked for lighting and vibe, I’ll pull it into an aggregator like OpenArt AI and run it through engines like Kling or SeedDance to see which one handles the motion better. It’s def not a 'one-click' process, but as a CD, using it for that kind of high-speed creative pre-vis is where the real win is. I've gotten the most realistic results that way, that feel like UGC.
