So my VP at my previous company felt bad and refused to speak to me or attend my farewell after my resignation. His reason was that I somehow betrayed his trust as he had promoted me just last year (after keeping the position open for 4 months and letting me take additional work load after the previous SM left!). Shop with bad reputation that lacks PR and hardly enters awards but has a lot of book-worthy projects.

I always get told to network and make those connections. But if you're naturally a more quiet person how do you do this? Message managers or directors on LinkedIn? shoot them a email?

Did Republicans think this through? Are they assuming they’re now powerful enough they can stop the electoral reaction to this? I’m seeing people radicalizing in real time across my social networks. Republicans supporting Biden. Formerly moderate Democrats coming out in favor of court-packing.

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?
