Interested to know: how nervous do you feel about losing your job during these strange days? And do you feel like your company is taking advantage of that at all, knowing you won’t leave?

Anyone move from the bay side of the east bay to the 680 valley? We’ve been here for a year and are having a hard time adjusting to the weather and wondering if we’ll ever get used to it. We love getting outdoors but have felt like we’ve spent the better part of this summer inside just because of how hot it’s been. How do you keep up with the same level of activity with kids (running, cycling , hiking) while staying cool?

Mental health is busy, looking for tips to help manage tasks, currently I supervise 12 therapists in 3 different departments that are all different with unique dynamics in each dept. I still carry a small caseload on top of this. I'm struggling with my patients and worry I am not giving them my best, I wax and wane between focusing on patients and therapists. How much should a senior manager specializing in State and Local Tax working at a top 10 PA firm with 15 years of experience be making? Any thoughts?

I think there should be more males caretakers in this world. Some of my clients just feel more comfortable with a guy and it's kind of sad how often they say I'm the only male they could find.

Do we feel that agencies really respect firewalls in the networks? I’ve seen examples where network agencies share highly confidential info during pitches...win at all costs. Don’t feel comfortable.

I’m having a hard time understanding the salary /TC ranges for mid- to senior-level strategy positions in the Denver area (10-15 YOE). They seem to vary a lot, and are broadly low vs. other markets (mid $100k-low $200k vs TC closer to $300-$400k+ on the coasts). Any observations? Which companies would you look at for more substantial comp outside consulting?
