First few weeks at my role: I tend to be very nervous prior to meetings, hence I haven't been putting up my best performance (although the team has been saying I am doing great). I just have so much to learn in order to be up to speed and it's stressing me out. Any advice on taking it easy and enjoying my life?

If your company gave you a wfh supplies allowance, how much was it? New job sent me a laptop and said if I want them to order me a monitor or desk chair or other supplies, send them a link and they’ll let me know if it’s approved. They didn’t specify an amount. The only thing I really need is an external monitor, since the laptop they sent has a really small screen. What’s a reasonable amount to request?

Question for those that are familiar with how severance pay works. I received a package a while back and was paid bi-weekly severance. The payments ended a few months ago but just the other day I had a severance deposit. Curious if it’s possible to get additional payment at this point or does this look like a mistake? Anybody else have the same issue with their Polar H10 Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap? After ~2 yrs mine started periodically losing signal (showed no heart rate, then would come back, on and off). I changed the battery and it helped, but didn’t entirely fix the issue. Now at ~3 yrs, the connection goes frequently and renders it unusable. Any idea what the issue is? How did you resolve it? It worked great for a long time, so I hate to replace it entirely if there is fix.

Looking for some advice. I have been in the fraud industry for 7 years. I went back to school a couple of years ago and will graduate in November with a BS in Finance & Economics. I’m considering a career change from fraud to something with higher pay potential. Once I graduate. I currently make 56K a year. Any advice on what type of job to go after? I’m on board with getting certifications if that’s what it takes to raise my value/pay. Any advice would be helpful.
