Anyone aware why time at level has now increased to 3 years at the USDC? Meanwhile folks in the Traditional model are moving up relatively quickly (usually at 2 years).

Because Core is an “up or out” model, whereas the USDC model is based on longer term contracts and has promo requirements that don’t align to “up or out” because of it (ie 1. Team needs a resource at that next level, 2. Project PPMD & financials both support the promo, 3. Resource has been consistently performing at that next level, etc)

Firstly, don't ever compare core with USDC that's like comparing apples and orange.

As some pointed out core is you go up or you go out. Butvin usdx you can end your career as a manager for 20yrs.

I’m working at a small firm that is more like a one-stop shop. We’ve had instances where a client of ours have asked for a deliverable that is outside of our expertise and that we need specialists for. However, the relationship partner (is that what they’re called) for some reason wants everything to go through them rather than having the specialists directly engage with the client. Is there some legal/ethical reason for this? Or is this just an act to protect their turf?
