Anyone else feel like even your go to escapes have lost their magic? I’m craving somewhere that actually lets you breathe. Somewhere quiet, private, and genuinely soul filling no sceney crowds, no pressure.

Lately, i enjoyed Comporta, Portugal. The empty dunes, wild beaches, and minimalist villas tucked among pine forests. I stayed at Sublime Comporta and loved waking up to rice paddy sunsets and private sea food feasts under the trees and Lisbon not far away.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

80 minute commute one way. Ten minute car ride, 50 minute BART ride, and twenty minute walk to office. Plus a 12 hour day.

Is there a clause in IBM if one separates before completing year.
Offer letter mentioned recovery of joining bonus if separation before 1 year. If i resign now ,my lwd is beyond 1year since I joined 10 months back. Which date will be considered here? Day of separation filing or actual lwd .

Came back to school in August with a cruise ship still sitting on my stage. We walked away from Anything Goes the day after the sitzprobe because of the quarantine. Still taking the wind out of my sails.

We are here now, but not able to stage shows. Logic says, "Do a radio show!" Just not sure I want to subject the kids to the emptiness of that performance style given the Zoom life they've been living. The production of it could be fun though.
