Cambodia is easily my favorite of the three ... Siam reap and tour anker wat... it’s cheap and food is amazing...
then Vietnam ... If I remember correctly there is an amazing 5 star hotel called Saigon (or Vietnam) hotel - they took great care of me after I got kidnapped in a cab and shaken down for all the $ I had-... (always make sure the car is white and green,)
I would say Vietnam was amazing ... but that put a serious damper on my trip... go to Vietnam just be careful.
It was hotel Saigon... they really took great care of me.
RuMa Hotel in KL, loved the interiors and convenient location in center of city
I loved this place

The landscape around the hotel looks like it is from a movie (a Vietnam war movie but beautiful all the same). It is gorgeous. You can borrow bikes and explore the countryside. So many great hikes and boat rides in that area. Lots of temples to explore and some great restaurants and cafes.
The food at the hotel is so good and the rooms are the best I’ve ever stayed in. The indoor/outdoor bathrooms - wow.
Cambodia is just the best , especially for solo travel. I would recommend hitting Siem Reip, Phnom Penh , Kampot, Kep , Sihanuokville, and Koh Rong.
Vietnam is also pretty nice, I'd recommend Hanoi and Hoi an. Skip Da Nang .
Happy to share more if you can give an idea of what you like doing.
