Do they make you want to jump out the windows?*
*See what I did there? 😂
As someone with a southern accent: suck it.
Still have PTSD. The most horrible people and account I have ever worked on. One client got laid off and reached out to me for help. He admitted they were awful before seeing if I could help him strategize his next move. He got the job and I never even got a thank you. Burned me twice. Never again. His karma payback is increasing by the day.
Capitalizing Windows would have been better
Yeah they are crazy. Sorry for your loss.
My friend worked client side for Microsoft a few years ago. She always felt awful for the agency as they never gave clear direction
Lol, I have one too...I just hate the client that much where I'm willing to punch myself.
YES, their retail team is full of a bunch of entitled dumbasses who talk big but don't know a damn thing. Every meeting and email is full of marketing buzzword soup and then when you push for clear direction they/she shuts down like a child. Pardon my venting but this #%&$@ needs to get a clue and not waste our time and then fight us on our monthly bill and rates she signed off on.
FML.
And this accent clients southern accent on calls makes me want to throw her out a window.
Sorry, that's petty.
Clients southern accent*....damn early mornings before coffee. Anyways, done venting.
Internally they jockey for power and psych each other out...it’s their competitive culture, so by the time it gets to the vendors - they are power hungry, abusive monsters! They use any means to belittle you, put you down, attempt to place you in a compromised position, etc to save a few pennies or just get their way for no reason. Hierarchical to the core. And not an ounce of creativity. Just abuse. Run! Also - the company ruined Seattle for good. The whole city is a subservient to Microsoft and so their culture contaminated the vibe there - sadly. It was a much cooler city before the advent of ms.
