Hey, late 40s woman here. Used them all - honestly they’re all pretty much the same as in the same people are on them. The League makes you feel like it’s a bit more exclusive and seems like you get slightly better picks, but again those same folks were also on Bumble which was quite a bit cheaper. I would try one of those first and see how it goes before you commit a lot more money on it.
Honestly my experience wasn’t terrible except for some awkward moments when one of senior directors in the office tried to match with me.
The dates themselves were fine - for me I mostly just didn’t click with most romantically; didn’t have any nightmare stories. Some folks look a little different in the pictures, some were just flat out boring, but nothing too crazy. Ended up dating a couple for a while.
I would suggest going into it without expecting much and to have fun. Know quite a few people our age who ended up finding their person on line, so stay positive.
Good luck!
Some details clearly missing here
Coffee meets bagel - know a few friends who met long term partners there
Met my wife on CMB. Not Jewish focused to my knowledge. Found it to be more intentional people who were looking for a relationship.
Most of us in NYC go for the 25 to early 30s age range, probably similar in other HCOL / VHCOL
That’s gross - partner 4.
Me, pick me
So last time I tried this was maybe 1.5 years ago and I was amazed how few professional type men I found. Most were more along lines of high school educated blue collar. I’m not tied to any one profile and there are things about blue collar life that are very attractive (and complementary to partner life) but the balance was wayyy off.
Anyone else find this?
Referrals are a great idea but haven’t had luck over the years. I’d assume at my age the pond is starting to get restocked :). My child is elementary school so most peers from there are about ten years younger/ very few split up yet
Me. Female, city dweller, ski, travel, cape, family time. The usual :).
I’ll have to check for a singles bowl :)

Took three years to convince my sister-in-law to try it. She dated a Dr, a Lawyer, and a banker within a month. Married the lawyer. I know this reads like a trope but it is real!
But I’m not jewish….….
Culinary orientation works too
