Are there any changes that your store leaders have made that made work life better for you? If there's a single reason why you'd rather stay in your store vs look for another opportunity elsewhere, what is it?

HIRING ENOUGH PEOPLE!!! It has made the biggest difference in my life. I don't have to put in ridiculous amounts of overtime now, and when I do work, I'm only doing my job, not 20 other peoples'. I don't know why it took them so long when all of us complained about it, but whatever.

I've been on both ends of the spectrum and currently I'm understaffed and it sucks so much! I just wish they'd hire more people so we didn't have the strain that we do...

For me, a good store leader listens and actually acts on feedback. That makes me stick around more than any bonus or new role would.

I wish I could say that I am not looking for other opportunities, but I am. Responsibilities have gone up, but my pay hasn't. And the work-life balance isn't great here either.

Pay obviously top priority. I never realized how important culture is to me; it really drives your day-to-day experience and that is what determines your overall happiness with a job. Also, being adequately staffed.
