Associate on a PIP — can I realistically survive?
Still getting new cases, some good feedback, wrote my own plan, and my mentor is supervising it.

Sorry I would still leave.
I came back from being transferred off of all my first supervisor’s matters and eventually even made partner but it was hard and gross and I wouldn’t recommend doing it unless you have a very good reason for staying (and even then, I’d think twice before doing that to yourself)

It’s survivable, but the standard you’re judged by is totally different now—people will be looking for your mistakes and shortfalls now and the first time it happens you’ll get kicked out.

Yes. I had a friend who was placed on PIP and she turned it around and is doing well now, but you have to put in serious work.

It depends on the firm. I know of multiple people at mine that were put on PIPs and survived them

like

If done correctly, a PIP is surviveable but I'd still encourage you to revamp your resume and try to make a move just in case.

I’m not on a PIP but being left out of meetings, didn’t get a raise or bonus and no one has said anything. Needless to say, I’m interviewing. Are you also applying/interviewing?

What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

Would love some recommendations on training platforms that you love, for a 75ish employee business. We need a platform to house our current training docs, create new content in, monitor completion % by employee and something that's easy to add new team members to and assign content by role. Thank you in advance!

Let’s say I sell 10 covered calls on a stock that expire 45 days out and make 1k premium. On day 5 the options I sold are down 80%, so I buy them back for 200 dollars, making 800. What do I do next? It’s still 40 days out if I sold more for that expiration, but premiums are basically dead. Do I sell for an even farther date or wait for a green day to sell again?
