So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Chill. This has been happening for years. It’s a cycle. Agencies die. New ones come up. Capitalism needs advertising.
Errrday. For years (no lie, years) Ive been trying to think of anything I could do instead (and make close to the money) and I can't. So...
I went to a smaller, up and coming agency who is winning pitches and hiring. I’ve lost hope in the big ones.
Marcel says: You’re fired.
Nope. My skills are applicable at a lot of companies and different industries. Let it burn
To death?! You need some perspective here. This is not a war zone unlike people living in such as I type here. Look up some mindfulness and practicing gratitude techniques and give it a try. It will help with the anxiety and is super healthy.
It’s agencies that are having a tough time. We will be fine. We’ll always be needed somewhere
Haha leave it to an account director to take an idiom literally and then give nonsense wellness advice. 🤣
I take some comfort in the fact that whatever happens, I won’t be alone - that is, it’ll be happening to a lot of other people too.

I found this job. I’ll find the next one if it comes to that.
To death. No. To annoyance yes
People are so scared of being laid off or being forced to look for other work. Things like having money saved and always staying on the hunt for work will help to alleviate being scared to death. Also piles of student debt and people who live outside of their means as they try to catch up but never will tend to be the biggest target for this. Don’t be afraid of change - instead confront the shit out of it and keep it movin’ 👍

All cyclical. Just keep your head up and don't let others get in your way. People making decisions on who stays and who goes notice....
How would you refer to your work attributes?
Not at all
SC2, sorry you're unable to make sense of my comment but unlike yours, it was meant to help OP with a different way of looking at things and was on topic.
I might even venture a guess that OP is relatively young and the anxiety of losing a job is real but fear is not helpful or productive. As someone who's been laid off twice, including currently, I know we are all more capable and resourceful than we realize or give ourselves credit for.
