I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. That said getting to know people only remote has been kind of awkward at times (email only can be tough to decipher) although as a working mom the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

Recently sold my car on carvana. I had initially bought it using a loan from DCU. Now that carvana has paid me the balance after paying of the loan, i still see on the dcu app that I owe money to dcu. People that can relate, can you take me through next steps?

How do you split income/expenses with your spouse? Wife earns about 75% as much as me. Don’t have kids yet. Do you have a joint account for everything or do you split common expenses 50-50 or in proportion to income? Something else? This has caused some contention so want to benchmark. Thanks!

I bagged an offer letter from Global Logic, for Automation Testing, but after connecting with team got to know they are using out dated tools for testing but while interviewing they asked about the latest tools which there in the market.
So can anyone guide me what to do now , is there any criteria to switch the project inside the GL only? How easy is getting to another project with GL?

2 months over still i have not got the project , what's going on is it safe to stay ?
