Yes!!! I'm at that point where I'm wondering if the life I'm living now aligns with who I am and how I want to spend my limited time om this earth. I've alwaysfelt like an outsider in this profession, a fumbling baboon in a room of swans. I'm worried that I was soo focused on the end goal that I didn't give myself a moment to ask myself if this lifestyle is what I want for myself.
Yes. My 20s I spent mostly learning (undergrad + law school). Was so busy it didn’t give me a chance to figure out who I am and what I like. Doing that work now and it’s tough but worth it!
Wow yes
Yes. 25+ years later, living my best life and having it all. Happily married to a wonderful man, 2 great kids in college, can see retirement in sight. Hang in there. It’s all worth it. It makes you appreciate it more if no one gave it to you and you had to earn it.
Wow. I never thought of it like this, and now that you say it, so true for me.
Yup, eldest daughter in an immigrant family. I have zero sense of self and I’m building that now. I’ve been working through it with a therapist and it’s been giving me a lot of confidence.
