Tired of PMO in M&A for the last few years, with no clear industry or skillset expertise, got an opportunity to help with inorganic strategy at a non-FAANG tech place, but base comp is $25k lower... with potential for bonus to make up for the cut. Role complements my experience so really want to try it out. WLB looks a lot better than working non stop all day in order to make it to SM and partner. Im afraid of taking a "pay cut" to go to industry. Any advice?

I have got my L2 Dependent Visa stamped for the US through the Wife's organization and she has booked the tickets for the both of us in the next weekend. I am currently unallocated in TCS and seeking projects in the same US location as my Wife. Can I travel to the US just like that and then continue my search within TCS from there or do I need any approvals to even fly in the first place?
