I am also in same situation. Remember few things to overcome social anxiety —
1. Don’t take everything seriously especially yourself.
2. Its Ok to be stupid few times so that you can open up yourself and learn from interactions.
3. I know its hard but put yourself slowly in social situations and get used to it. Make mistakes and learn from it.
4. Social bonds form emotionally or small talk at starting then based upon familiarity you can go deep.
5. Everyone cares about themselves. You are not main person in other’s life so Chill.
6. You are not going to die or go to jail if an interaction goes bad
Last night, I couldn't sleep again. My brain was a carousel of "what-ifs" and "why-did-l-say-thats." So, I made a playlist at 2 a.m., songs that feel like they get it: the ache, the fog, the tiny sparks of hope. I imagined someone else out there, awake, listening to the same songs, feeling less alone. I play it when I need to feel something but don't know what. Isn't it strange how lyrics can say what we are too scared to? What is one song that feels like it was written for your soul??
