I heard the U.S. doesn’t have enough electricity supply to sustain future fleet electrification.
If that’s true, we need supply > demand to bring electricity prices down in the long run. But in the short term, electricity prices will go up because utilities will raise rates to recoup their capital costs on generating assets.
Why? You’re 5. Don’t worry about it till your 15 or even 25.
Why are energy prices going to skyrocket?
There’s a fuel shortage, particularly in New England.
Electrification of what in particular? Cars? Heating?
You’re in a tough spot. This year is not going to be pretty from an energy standpoint whether you’re electrifying or not (because of the fuel prices you mentioned above). Does blaming Russia only work for Biden? 😂
