Our son was terrified of the potty so we had to explain to him that every little boy has a fish that lives in the ocean where his poop comes out, and that fish can only eat his poop. He still comes out of the bathroom a year later saying “Daddy, I fed my fish!”
I’ll be in the house and just hear my daughter screaming, “Dad! It’s poop!”
We told my son that the poop wants to go join his friends at the poo poo party. So every time he flushed, he said, “have fun at the poo poo party!”
