This role is to work on the Army account. They are purposefully not filling it to collect for the role but not payout for it. Government regs cap profit margin at 8.5% on employees. So what they are doing is using CDs from different departments to flex on projects. That way they don’t have to hire a FT but they can still collect the revenue for the role. Of course according to their contract this is a person that’s supposed to be dedicated to the Army account. They must keep posting like they are trying to hire but in reality aren’t. It’s been up for over 7 months. They will hire if the client puts their foot down about it or if they get audited by govt procurement. Until then just use CDs from other accounts to keep the money rolling in. Of course that’s just a guess.

Wow. This is so helpful. I had reached out to their recruiter woman a few times and no response. I feel better. Thanks. Also would not want to work on Army. GTK all this.
Ernie Hemingway and Bill Bernbach apparently
They’re accumulating applicant numbers as part of hiring a visa creative
More creatives should be angry about this nonsense.

Usually the belief is you need to help level up the agency. Is yeah, short hand a decent amount of awards or campaigns that have gotten a ton of attention

Can confirm, bait n switch for army. Happened to me on a screening call in the summer
If it’s like their other creative roles, it’s because they reach out to people for the “brand client specific” role and then bait and switch it saying it’s actually for the army account after you talk to them.
This exact thing happened to me with them in August.
