I have an interview for a Principal Renewals Manager role at Slack/Salesforce this Wednesday and I was hoping for some advice on how I can wow them? Ive done a lot of research and made loads of notes but get very nervous in interviews and dont always articulate how I would want to / say everything I want to cover. AMA- consulting/ corporate strategy/ M&A

Hey all! While I stay in quarantine to assess a potential COVID exposure, I figured I’d host an Ask Me Anything for the above topics/ career tracks.

I’m a 27 year old manager, who’s been in consulting for 4.5 years, directly out of college, in Accenture doing M&A strategy for Financial Services & Life Sciences. I’ll try to answer to the best of my ability (mostly everything except client details ofc).

I am currently studying for REG. Is it absolutely necessary to memorize every dollar amount and related phaseout amounts? Or should I try to focus on understanding the rules mostly? There are so many phase outs my head is spinning 😣😣.

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. We got back to it and have been trying for the last 2 months again, still no luck. We’re freaking out… all we want is a family. Any similar stories? Advice? 😢
