What’s the best bang for buck in HNL? Doing 5 nights. Options are Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider and Laylow.
Hawaiian Air flights between HNL and OGG, anyone know how the ticket prices fluctuate? $150 now, is it likely to go up, down, or stay the same in the next 1-1.5 months?
Fellow 🐠, is 5k points from AA enough comp for the following: On a LAX-HNL flight, 1.5 hours out of LAX we diverted to SFO because of faulty sensors. Fixed in SFO. Arrived in HNL ~5 hrs late.
Anybody know if a rental property agent in San Mateo/Foster city CA? Or a good website(which is not general Apartment,Rent,Zillow type website) to look for some decent studio/1B type of apartment?
Three hours to kill at LAX T7. Best bar? Looking like Bgrill, but I’ve only explored the middle concourse
How embarrassing that my home airport, LAX, has no gates available after landing so they are bussing everyone off our Dreamliner 787 to a terminal 😨
Can somebody please explain the concern about a corona uptick in the cold months? I wanted to better understand the science with cold weather and viruses. Is it the increased need to be inside with poor ventilation? Does the virus survive better in the cold? Or is it more that we will continue to lax restrictions and become less careful? Thank you!
To Managers: What was your salary as a 1st Year manager? ...I tried using glassdoor, but the sample on which the avg is based isn't much. So, the results aren't accurate- cont'd...
I like working for ACN but our benefits suck compared to other firms. I use my personal phone for calls bc they don't contribute and the health ins. open access plan has crazy high deductibles! 🙄
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for RSVPing for the happy hour tomorrow night! I'm excited - I'll be there around 7, and we have two free Fishbowls for the first few people who arrive. Ask for the Fishbowl happy hour at the door, or look for the balloon. You can also use this bowl to find us and connect with others who are attending the event. See you all there!
At the beginning of Covid-19, my sister was on a cruise. Her job was to teach bridge and cribbage to other passengers to offset the cost. She said, “While we were waiting to see if we had a port, I would see my kids playing independently. It brought me joy.” It made me happy to hear that sense of wonder that is teaching and learning.
Have only ever been in consulting so excuse the stupid question, but who is 'the hiring manager'? Is it literally the manager who placed the need for someone, and who you'll be working with? Or is it
What’s the general view on enterprise tech sales wrt comp, work life balance and exit opportunities back into consulting/industry?
Everyone’s asked to stay seated so a medical emergency can be let off the plane first at arrival. Guy in 1C stands up right away, grabs his bags, looks around, then proceeds to just be in the way 🙄
Getting sick of parroting ‘digital’ everything already. It’s like every consultant has turned into Thomas Friedman over here
Looking for support- just word vomited a question to the client in a meeting- panicked when she didn’t answer right away and looked at the associate for a life line. What am I doing 🤦🏻♀️
I’ve started a new project and feel like I’m failing. I’m taking longer than I would like to get up to speed and deliver (been on for ~3 weeks incl. holidays). I’m also struggling to please my manager
New Yorker moving to Chicago- been Delta platinum for years, should I go to American or United? (intl mileage is important)
Does anyone understand Thinx underwear? I would LOVE to love it... but what's the point of spilling a day's worth of blood in your underwear? Do you have to buy 5 underwears to avoid reusing it during period week? Do you have to do a different laundry for your period stains? But most importantly: is Thinx underwear for women who don't wear tampons? I just can't stand feeling blood spilling down all day. I would love to throw my money at them but I don't really get their product and why they're so cagey in their communication.
I am not booked on client work the next few weeks - should I reach out to scheduling or my coach to see if I can be placed on something?
I’m sure it’s been asked before but has anyone gone client side? Is so: 1. What exactly do you do? Are you a writer still? Or “marketer” 2. HOW did you do it? Do you need something on your resume CONT
How hard is it to leave a firm if I have a non-solicitation agreement? Does anyone here have any experience with that?
