Did team PAMs have a say in the COs? I’ve been hearing folks who got promoted in 4 cycles got COd too? How is that possible? Do folks with an above average level of performance need to be bothered too? Can any P please shed some light? Would appreciate

There is only one such person I know in India office and likely their performance dipped after the promotion considerably but wont be surprised if it was political as India leadership is known for holding grudges. Not sure if you saw this elsewhere?

Have seen two such cases where promoted people are COed
On high level I can tell you that I had to give CO to 4 ( 1 was average and 3 were good performers) and put 2 on PIP (1 avg 1 good) both of them will also COed within 30 days. Plus I am under immense pressure to further reduce head count in my space

ZS2 - Are you a space lead? I am one and I have 65+ folks in my team. No one gave me any sort of pressure to reduce head count.

There was one CO case, who was absolutely pathetic but I was having him as I was short of resources always. HR stepped in and I agreed he was hopeless

P don't know status of CO employees. You have to ask HRBPs only. Only HRBPs know who is out who is alive

So, HRBP didn’t really consult the team? Or ask to make the team leaner? That makes it seem like it was indeed a performance based decision!

There was 1 post about someone's wife whose husband left zs also getting COed politically. This was actually very true as it happened in my neighborhood team

Even I have seen HR putting tremendous pressure on PAMs in my space to put people on plan. And they are actually excellent performers but have some improvement area. PAMs are fighting for these people but don't know how long they can continue.
PS. Fortunately we haven't lost any business and our utilization is at 80 percent. I feel like HR is forcing us to get rid of our good people and replace them with some overhired lot.

You know, there has been a recent change, like within last 1 year in HR India leadership and as we all know that ZS HR leadership also changed in last 2.5 yrs ago.

What i have heard is that these top HR leadership is putting pressure on HRBPs, generalists and eventually PAMs to reduce headcount or as someone mentioned to staff the overhired, unstaffed lot.

Tbh, when ZS has values such as "Treat People the Right way", our HR leadership highly lacks this values. And i have lost trust, hope and faith in HR leadership, especially the new ones.
