Guys, need one quick suggestion -

28th Jan(after 2 days) is my joining date in one of the organisation.. meanwhile I get a call from one of captive company for final managerial discussion scheduled for today itself.
I doubt they can release offer in just 2 days if all good, having said that tomorrow is holiday.
Ques- should I tell after 2 days I have to join one of organization. Or can I tell, still I am with current organisation and serving np, probably 60 days left and wait for their offer..

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

The current department I’m in, I do not fit the culture as it is a very archaic way of “managing” people. Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?
