I prefer hybrid jobs. Fully remote makes my ADHD worse. The variety of switching between settings actually helps.
It's annoying because all the jobs in my field seem to be remote these days, even local ones. Thankfully I found one with an ideal balance
This is how I am as well. I have to get out of the house every now and then so I actually took a part time job outside of my house. My full time job is doing remote assistant work and I like that it is flexible and I can really do it any time of day.
I was a teacher and fully quit to become a freelance content writer. I ended up freelancing in multiple areas and now can pay my bills while keeping control of my schedule. It wasn't only my ADHD that made me quit, but being at home has seriously increased my productivity now that I can work how and when is best for me.
May I ask how you became a content writer? I’m in job transition and want to stay fully remote as I’m way more productive at home. Hope this is ok to be asking

My role isn’t fully virtual (partially self decided), but the aspects of it that I’m most comfortable with and able to stay on track with are project based functions.
When I’m working short term (less than 3mo) projects and move to the next, I am able to stay on task and even enjoy things. Usually I’m waiting on other partners and working on my own side projects.
