Ooh that’s an awkward one, I personally wouldn’t though. I think keeping your personal life private is more important than it potentially being a bit awkward

I feel the same way! It’s not that I don’t like my boss, but I need a little separation between work life and personal life. Boundaries keep me sane!

I keep work very separate from my personal social media. I’m actually pretty selective about it these days in general. I recently just removed 150 followers from my IG because they’re people I dont live near and haven’t kept in touch with past following each other on IG.

Totally get that. Honestly trimming followers is kind of refreshing.
I work really hard to make sure my social media profiles can’t be found by my coworkers or boss. However, if my boss did try to friend me, I would probably ignore the request. Then hope I’m never asked about it.

I am the same. I try to keep my social media as private as possible, so not even sure how my boss finds me.
That’s a little creepy. Why would your boss want to be your Facebook friend or whatever. No I wouldn’t accept a request from my boss.
Pro
Right? It does feel a little awkward!
