Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

I expect to be paid according to my field of degree which is HCA/HCM but currently where I live there aren't jobs available to compensate the degrees I worked so hard to accomplish, so I'm thinking of looking out of state!
I think you may have posted this under the wrong question possibly
I did have a mentor when I was starting out in my career as an admin coordinator. They were my managers boss. They taught me things that I still go back to now such as how to network, how healthcare is still a business at the end of the day, etc. She was amazing. I expect from a mentor things that can't be learned in school or a course, their help with networking, and support with professional development and career advancement.
My mentor was a badass. She told me it’s truly who you know and I didn’t believe her at first. I was dead set on being the best at my job but she showed me how it’s not who is best at the job that gets promoted, it’s who knows enough about the job, can strategize, network, think big picture, etc. best advice anyone has ever given me.
And yes! Mentors can be anyone - it doesn’t need to be your direct manager. Honestly I think it’s better when it’s NOT.
