I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon

Staff are in demand! Why not talk to your boss and ask? Then at least you don’t have to search for new jobs. Remember it’s always cheaper to make accommodations then hire a new employee.
I’d still have to look. This pay rate is rough. But not having the commute every day would help me out.
I see in other responses that you said you have done interviews, and had several rejections. And that you have 20 years of military experience, and 1 yr civilian. First of all thank you. I did 7 years in the army you are much better than I am for sticking it out.
Secondly are you able to articulate what was done in the military, into civilian terms? As a hiring manager, and a vet I would love to hire someone like you. As military people make great employees. But you gotta be able to tell the non-Vets what you did in service in a why they understand. I even expect that from the vets that I interview even if I understand all the military terms, I will not let on that I understand because I expect my employees to be able to interact with the nursing staff and other clinical people and be able to talk their language. (I run the Biomed department for 2 major hospitals in the area)
Keep your head up, you deserve more than $15 an hour. There are so many jobs out there right now keep looking you will get something better.
I’m Air Force Patient Admin. I’m the Superintendent of Patient Admin at my unit. Most of my experience is civilianized just from the positions I’ve held. I’ve never deployed and all of my experience has been patient admin. My current military Guard role is very similar to a Practice Administrator. We had a realignment structure and my full-time position was cut, now I’m traditional guardsman.
I decided to leave the hospital system altogether. I went on a few interviews outside the health system with former military interviewing me and they were very helpful and mentored me. I had 2 great offers and went with a newer company who opened a mental health facility near my home.
