I accepted that job right out college in July 2018. It was $22.50/hr with potential to make around $5k-$10k QTRLY if you are top performer. Be careful though because they switched my position once I onboarded. They made my class Investment Center Specialists which is basically the 1800 number for Merrill Edge (customer service rep type of work) still got the licenses though.
The people who were in the role who we shadowed said it wasn’t that difficult to get the bonuses. Never worked in the role so couldn’t tell you from my perspective. The switch was mandatory and the bonus structure was significantly less only $25 per referral. Bounced out of there in 8 months.
I worked in the exact role for about a year and recently moved to a different role. Its an advisor cum Operations person job. The base is 65k plus bonus. You can make bonuses from a low 9k per quarter to 23k per quarter. The work load is frustrating in my opinion and I wasn’t fond of the management.
