I’m an LCSW with 7 years experience. Currently working as an EAP consultant for an insurance company from home. The pay is good but I hate being on a call queue and the schedule is SO rigid. As a working mom I’m wondering if there are other options for remote WFH positions in insurance out there that don’t require being in a call queue and having supervisors monitoring every single second of your day? I work so much better when I have time to prioritize my tasks and work at my own pace.

I have a fear of commitment with everything in my life: accepting a job (if I have multiple offers), accepting a college, signing a lease somewhere, and starting a relationship. Once I get started, I know I’ll love it, but the decision kills me. In a relationship, I fear the point they will leave me (abruptly) & also fear I’ll never be able to love them the way they love me (if they come off strong in the beginning). Also want to explore my options, even if no one wants me. Anyone else??
