Facebook (Meta) Meta vs EY?
I am evaluating an offer from meta.
TC at EY: 170k TC at Meta: 300k
I’ll be free of EY’s investment restrictions. I love the role and the team seems warm and welcoming. With Meta being in the news for something or the other, is now a good time to join Meta? Thank you! Facebook
Thoughts on Wealth Management as an industry? Offered a role to work under a senior FA and eventually take over the book (~$800M AUM and growing). It sounds great, but I am worried about the disruption this industry is facing with Robo advisors and other low cost, DIY options. I’d want to make sure the clients stay through the transition, and I don’t want to join a dying industry. Thoughts and advice?
SPG: if I book a suite, and apply suite night awards to that, if available, do they bump you to a higher grade suite?

I have a little under 8yrs of experience - working for a small tech consulting firm, one person team, slowly becoming global (HRBP, HR generalist, and recruiting) I make $80k a year based in Chicago. I feel like I am under paid, but would love some opinions on what others think.
If you received multiple offers, and one of the companies went out of their way to get you the best pay + increased stocks, but you still decide to reject them, what's the nicest way to do so without burning bridges? Would love to hear your experiences
I only started at PwC a couple of months ago, but I started getting hunted down by Amazon. I just passed my technical interview with them and I am moving on to the loop interview. What I want to know is... does anyone have experience at both? In my head, as a Solutions Architect, Amazon (or any FAANG) is a feather in my cap. That being said, PwC has been great, and seems like a great company. Would you leave PwC for an AWS Solution Architect position?
HR/LEGAL HELP: I work for a multi-state remote employer. I am doing a classification study of sorts and believe that we may have to reclassify some positions. The impact is moving exempt and salaried positions to non-exempt. This has caused us to consider what states we are/should be hiring from. Any issues with excluding candidates from certain states that may have more stringent pay laws? Appreciate your help!
Graphic designer moving into Art director role. Want to grow skill set. What’s more future proof? SEO/google analytics or UX design?
What makes you automatically roll your eyes in a meeting? I’ll start: when account people tell me not to think about the budget because the client will find the money if they like an idea 😐😑🙄
But I’m tired tho.

Hi fishies, was considering a move to Monitor Deloitte but just want to get the views of the consulting industry experts in the group regarding how is MD perceived (and actually is) in ME in terms of reputation, market share, prestige, culture and exit opportunities. Thanks in advance!
I am currently working as a paralegal in a small/mid sized firm where compensation as far as salary is limited. Recently I have decided to leave and have started doing initial interviews with very large firms. When the question of compensation always comes up of course I want to say the highest number possible. Is this a turn off? Should I try to be more realistic in the number that I give or shoot for the stars?

Best healthcare PR agencies in NYC?
I'm being forced to write copy and make a social media calendar for my company suddenly after a bunch of consultants took over.
I understand everything is a learning curve but it's high time they hire resources.
Pointing my copy mistakes all the time won't help a multi million $ company.
Is there a way to explain this professionally that my forte is design and not social media management.
They want two weeks content in advance sure I can visualize moodboard and
got laid off at Hopin. job search is going well but finding it super hard in interviews to get an idea of the company culture and whether they actually care about work/life balance. they will obviously *say* they do but i fear in reality they’re just going to advantage, overwork you and pile on the deadlines. so many people in interviews with me have been so uninspiring, barely smile and seem totally burnt out. is this just my experience?
Background verification started 2 weeks back in ionboard portal bgv status completed, still I didn't receive the offer letter
