School does not grade homework K-4 as a part of our policy. I do give students access to online assignments and fluency games for math practice at home & their literacy teachers asks them to read a book they enjoy (no matter the level) every day. I tell kids and parents I expect kids to be on for 100% of the school day and truly believe their development benefits from extracurricular activities and family time after school

Almost daily for my 4th graders. It is all homework that should take more than 30 min for my class and roughly the same from their math teacher. Any opportunity I get in class to let them start their homework I take so they have less homework.
