I try to get up and walk around as much as possible during the day, both to get my step count up and to ease some of the strain on my back. As for actual working out, there's just no way I could fit it into my lunch hour and still have time to shower and get back to work. I've been going after. I really need to get back in the habit of working out early, the gym at 5:30 PM is a madhouse.
Block off that cal for recurring appointments and get outta there - best during lunchtime hours ;)
I started getting up early and going to the gym before work. It took me a long time to adjust to the habit now I look forward to it though. Also know I will not be doing anything like that after work. Agree with just trying to stand up and get even a little movement in during the day.
I try to walk around the conference room during my breaks if no one is using it. I will occasionally go for a walk on nice days but our office is in a busy industrial park and there aren’t sidewalks or anything to walk on so it can be pretty dangerous to go for a stole.
