I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC
I'm new to investing :
2 questions
1 - where should I invest my Deloitte 401k in ? Is the vanguard institutional 500 index trust a good place to just put my 401k and forget about it.
2 - I recently opened a fidelity account and have savings I want to invest and want to invest a small percentage every paycheck without worrying about trading it . What's the safest place to invest in and not worry about it for the next 10 years ? VOO? QQQ?

The learning curve is good at Deloitte India. If you are in a client facing roles, Indian clients are more challenging than any other part of the globe. If you get nice bunch of individuals around you, then DI is one the places to be in my personal opinion. Growth is rapid if you perform good and above expectations. In my team Atleast there’s open culture and everyone is very supportive. Just like any organisation , there’s always a bit of politics and some other generic corporate stuff, but truth be told corporate will become very dull without it. So it you are planning on joining, connect with people on LinkedIn who are in similar profile to you in DI and ask about team, if team is good and you are getting decent money, then DI is definitely worth it. And there’s workload, but i have never worked on weekends and if i have stayed longer than my hours , i was always acknowledged for it
Bhai kuch nahi hai. Bas dukh dard aur weekend bhar kaam 🥲
Nothing, hikes are also minimal
