I dated someone 15 years older than me and he always lectured me about what did I do wrong. Almost everything I did or said he’d follow with some criticism. I ghosted him after another lunch date full of such lectures.

The moment I am transparent about my career, I get ghosted. Then those who do stick around tend to fall in love with my uniform and not me.
