Had a post vendor come to my agency and show off their reel a few weeks ago. They showed a JL spot and told us the turnaround nightmare and weekend/late nights they had to put in was unlike most projects but they expect that when working with them.

Really depends on the client you’re on. I would say while they do have juniors, they’re a little more top heavy and don’t fully take the time to mentor them as they should. But if you can stick it out and get promoted and earn your stripes, you’ll definitely be good.

A lot of it also comes down to personality.

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?
