Ever walk out of an interview thinking, "I nailed that," and then never hear back? I have stopped overanalysing my answers - now I just want closure. Even a no would be better than silence.

Too many times. It's conditioned me to always expect the worst, no matter how well I think the interview went. After two weeks of radio silence, I'm mentally moving onto the next opportunity.

I relate to this a lot. I used to overthink every interview, but now I treat silence as a clear signal. If they cannot reply during hiring, I doubt they communicate well once you join.

Yep, and yet left the interview uncertain when I ultimately got jobs at Microsoft and IBM. Feelings are not facts.

You are right. Feelings really are not facts. I try to remind myself of that when the silence hits, because I have had interviews that felt uncertain but still worked out. I just wish communication felt more respectful.

I felt OK after an interview earlier this month. Never heard back from that one. Right now, it seems less about crushing the interview and more about others doing poorly.

That is exactly it. It feels less about how well we perform and more about how chaotic their process is behind the scenes. I walked out feeling confident too, but confidence means very little when communication breaks down completely.

Feeling grateful & proud as I reached my goal ($50K by 25) 5 months early. But I can’t help feeling a bit overwhelmed. In the lifelong scheme of things, $50K doesn’t seem like much. I worked really hard and sacrificed a lot (including mental health) to get to this but it seems a little tiring knowing I still have so long to go. I recently moved out and in with my BF so my expenses are split, but nonetheless they are still expenses. Any tips on continuing this journey and keeping the drive?
